Sportsmen Raise funds for The Haven, Hereford

A Sportsman’s Dinner, organised by Lloyd TSB’s  Relationship Manager, Neil Herbert, has raised over £3000 for The Haven in Hereford.

The evening, which took place at Hereford Racecourse in December, had ex England and Arsenal player Ray Parlour as the guest of honour and after dinner speaker, and saw comedian Mick Walker entertaining the crowds.

The evening also saw an auction take place during which lots such as an annual Season Ticket for Hereford United, a signed photograph of Olympic Athlete Roger Black, numerous signed football shirts and other sporting memorabilia helped raised £3,500 for The Haven breast cancer support centre in Hereford.Prizes

Community Fundraiser, Lesley Leach, said “We were absolutely thrilled with the amount raised by Neil and his guests.  We receive no government funding, so rely totally on people like Neil organising events and raising money for us to secure our future here in Hereford.  We are so grateful to him for the support he has given us.”
