The Bell at Skenfrith

The Bell raised £6,000 holding two fashion shows in one day where guests enjoyed a rose fizz reception with canapes at noon followed by a catwalk fashion show. They also enjoyed beauty care, reflexology, health massages, organic skin care, elegant jewellery, gluten free cupcakes, delicious lingerie and swimwear. The evening show included dinner and an auction.

The Beer drinking team donated £1,000 at the 2010 beer festival taking their total to over £6,000

Mike Chandler - Fundraiser

Mike has raised over £50,000 for The Haven with the help of his colleagues at the Royal Mail in Hereford. In 2007 Mike ran a full marathon on a treadmill followed a year later by a cycle trek to Leeds and back on a three gear postmans bicycle with his collegue Glyn Jones. In 2009, Mike and Glyn cycled around the complete triangle of all three Havens, Hereford-Leeds-London-Hereford, a further 150 miles making about 485 and raised over £10,000.

Mike has recently completed his 11th London Marathon, in a very impressive 4 hours, 11 minutes and 56 seconds, and raised an absolutely amazing £14,000 for The Hereford Haven.

Stacy Walker - Fundraiser

Stacy and Michelle Walker have topped their last fundraising achivements, by raising a fantastic £1,700 at their latest fun evening at The Hereford Welsh Club.  They organised a brilliant evening of games, music, food, raffles and auctions, and some more spectacular pink outfits!  The fundraising is in his blood now, so look out for more events soon!

Moira Starkey - Fundraiser

A tireless fundraiser, Moira has raised over £9,000 from a variety of methods ranging from selling jams and pickles to organising the annual Storridge pancake race. Moira cheerfully rounds up her local villagers, opens her gardens to hold 'spot the weed' competitions and arranges Country and Western evenings.

2010 saw Moira complete her own marathon by walking the length of the marathon in curcuits of Storridge village hall.

Tessa Coates-Bishop - Fundraiser

Tessa gave £1,000 five years ago, and put on a cabaret performance at The Courtyard Theatre in Hereford in October 2009 raising over £400. Tessa worked really hard to organise this show.
