The Haven

Leave a gift in your Will

Leaving a legacy to The Haven is a wonderful way of helping to secure The Haven’s future, enabling us to continue to deliver long-term support to people with breast cancer across the UK and to help realise our vision.

Our vision for the future

Our vision is to ensure that no one should have to face breast cancer alone and we are committed to expanding our network of Havens across the UK, in areas where the incidence rate of breast cancer is high and there is a need for our services.  We are constantly innovating and developing our breast cancer support programme in order to provide the most comprehensive and highest quality service available in the UK.

How a gift from you could help

Legacies have helped us to establish the unique service we offer today and will help us in achieving our vision for the future. Any gift, large or small, can make such a difference to the service we provide to our Visitors affected by breast cancer.  With our plans to expand so that we can reach and support more people, we are reliant on the generosity of supporters like you to make this happen.

We currently have three Havens, in London, Hereford and Leeds.  You could stipulate in your Will which Haven you would like your gift to support, or you can leave a gift to the Haven generally.

I just wanted to let you know what a wonderful place the Haven is. You are providing something that no hospital can – support for the individual emotional needs of people suffering a serious illness. It is so helpful to know you are there on a long term basis and that the needs of each person matter to you. I no longer feel like just another NHS number!” Kataleen

Thank you so much for all the guidance and support you gave me throughout last year. It’s been such a privilege having access to an organisation so dedicated and generous. Thank you for making a big difference to my life.”  Rina

"The moment I walked into the Haven I burst into tears, the room was full of compassion. I found myself pouring out the story of my doctor, my cancer and my fear. For the first time since the diagnosis I didn’t feel alone.”  Sarah
