Lansons PR

Lansons demonstrates a clear commitment to charitable work by actively supporting a number of organisations, giving one per cent of their annual profits to good causes. Each year Lansons’ staff select a chosen charity and for 2010/2011 we are delighted they have chosen to support The Haven.
Lansons have done lots of fun and exciting fundraising for The Haven, including...
Cake Bake
Thanks to everyone at Lansons PR for baking up a storm in their kitchens in order to take part in their bake-off in aid of Breast Cancer Awareness Month. Teams were invited to bake away in the hope of being crowned Lansons’ best cake makers. After the awards were given out all cakes were sold to raise money for The Haven. Well done to the brownie bakers for being crowned Kings of the Kitchen and to everyone at Lansons for their continued support.
Skydive
On the 31st July 2010 16 of the Lansons team prepared to complete the ultimate challenge and jump out of a plane for The Haven. Unfortunately the day had to be cancelled due to bad weather, but not to be put off the team rebooked and one by one threw themselves from a plane high above the Cambridgeshire countryside. The team recount their most memorable moments...
“The wonderful moment when the parachute opened and we just floated at peace high, high above the Cambridgeshire countryside” (Beth)
“When I wouldn’t take off my special hat…the only one in the plane, fool” (Katie)
“When Jen was sick afterwards” (Jeena)
“When the instructor told me I have the smallest head he has ever seen and had to make me a special hat” (Lisa G)
“When Lisa F’s instructor asked her to be quiet and stop asking questions because she was giving him a headache” (Katie)
Thank you everyone for taking part in such an incredible challenge!
Christmas Fair
Lansons Christmas Fair was held on the 25th November 2010. The evening was a wonderful event that really brought in Christmas, with Christmas music, Christmas decorations, Christmas puddings and mince pies galore! We were very kindly given a stall of our own to sell Christmas cards from and talk to shoppers about The Haven and the work being done for people affected by breast cancer. 10% of stall holder profits and the money raised from a superb raffle all went to The Haven. Thank you Lansons, for all your hard work putting this lovely evening together in aid of The haven.
Wear your Slippers to Work
On the 10th December Lansons staff wore their slippers to work to show their support for The Haven. Everyone donated £2 each for the chance to show off their comfy footwear. The best slippers were awarded a prize! Great slippers guys!
