A diagnosis of breast cancer and the treatment that follows can be a traumatic experience and a person's need for support doesn’t end when their treatment finishes. There will be times that are particularly stressful and difficult. We all deal with such anxieties in our own way, and there are no easy answers.
If you are concerned about any issues - at any stage - it may be worthwhile dropping in to The Hereford Haven for an informal chat with Breast Care Nurse Jan Dell.
Jan took up the post of Breast Care Nurse at the Oncology Centre in Hereford Hospital, continuing in this role for seven years. Jan has completed a Diploma in Cancer Care and has vast experience in areas such as Lymphoedema Care.
