Emotional Healing

Emotional HealingWhat is emotional healing?

Emotional Healing is an unusual therapy.  The diagnosis of emotional imbalances is based on the the needs of the individual and uses some muscle testing. Based on a combination of Chinese medicine, acupuncture, applied kinesiology, reiki and spiritual healing, the principal concept behind Emotional Healing is the belief that illness may occur as the result of imbalance in the body’s energy system built up over a long period of time, causing the immune system defences to collapse.  This can be triggered by a specific stress or trauma, or by disturbances in virtually any aspect of life over time – nutrition, emotions, thoughts, relationships, experiences from childhood, fears, environmental chemicals or electro-magnetic pollution. When the energy system is in balance, this can help overcome both psychological and physical problems.

How can emotional healing help?

During a series of sessions, a variety of energy corrections allow imbalances to be removed from the energy system, bringing the body back into balance.

What happens in a session?

The person to be tested lies fully clothed on a therapy bed and holds their arm against a specific light pressure.  The result of the test is either that the muscle holds strong or is weak and gives way, which is interpreted as an indicator of energetic balance or imbalance.  The concept is that the person’s own body knows what it needs, in what order, to bring it back to health. Various corrections to the energy field are then carried out to release the identified stress and these may include the use of magnets, acupressure, allergens, homeopathic remedies, or specific thoughts, sounds and body positions.

When can emotional healing be given?
Emotional healing can be useful at any stage, including before, during and after conventional treatment.
Emotional healing is usually given in three one-hour long appointments, though this can be increased if there are long-standing and complex issues to deal with.
